Salary & BenefitsExcellent employee benefits and a competitive stipend offer a comprehensive package for the resident while in training. Group life, health, dental and vision insurance coverage are available at low cost to the resident and his/her family. Liability and disability coverage is provided for employees of Idaho State University. Resident stipends for the 2013–2014 academic year are $50,177 (R1), $52,189 (R2), and $55,030 (R3). MoonlightingCurrently moonlighting relationships are established with Franklin County Medical Center in Preston, Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs, and Oneida County Hospital in Malad. We also moonlight taking care of medical history and physicals and medical concerns for the inpatient psychiatric unit in town. Residents can significantly augment their ER experience and income through moonlighting.
